I joined the
Animal Care Clinic in May, 2007, where I am the "Tuesday
Vet". After receiving my DVM degree from Auburn University College of
Veterinary Medicine in 1994, I moved to Texas to be near my family. I practiced
in Longview before moving to Round Rock in 1995, and I have worked in
various clinics in the Austin area.
I enjoy being a
Veterinarian because of the challenges involved in reaching a diagnosis and the
rewards of seeing a patient recover from an illness or injury. I also enjoy
being around the animals and seeing their different personalities.
It is a
pleasure to work with Dr. Meyer and the staff at the Animal Care Clinic because
everyone is caring and understanding of the patients as well
as their owners.
I have 4 dogs
and 4 cats of my own, all of which have been rescued. I also enjoy working in
my yard, traveling (although I don't have many opportunities), and tasting
wine.
